Tree of the South
At T.R.E.G. Tree Farm, we specialize in growing Live Oak
trees for use by builders, developers, and landscapers, as
well as individual property owners. We are a wholesale
nursery that provides quality Live Oak trees to clients in
Harris, Montgomery, Grimes, and Walker Counties.
Delivery and planting are also part of the services we
offer. We use a water-conserving system of
containment, irrigation and aeration to ensure even moisture
distribution as well as greater root stability. Owning our
own growing operation gives us greater control over quality
and price. Why pay more to a retailer or
re-wholesaler when you can buy the same Live Oak trees
direct from the grower?
Most
every community in the deep South has its favorite Live Oak,
and love for this tree has taken it far beyond its native
Gulf Coast region. The Live Oak gives shade in the hottest
parts of the South, is easily transplanted, and grows much
faster than many people realize. A 3"-4" cal. only
takes six to 10 years to become a useful size, and will live
for over 200 years.
